The SolarAnywhere® Forecasting Horizon: Solar Power Forecasting for PPAs, Plant Operations and Beyond

Date: Thursday, November 11, 2021
Time: 10 - 11 a.m. Pacific (1 - 2 p.m. Eastern)

The solar market is evolving. Historically, solar plants delivered power when the sun was shining and were compensated for the energy they produced. Today, the focus is evolving to dispatchable PV and providing grid services that require forecasting PV production on specific time horizons.

SolarAnywhere® Forecast provides industry-leading power forecasts for stakeholders across the operational pipeline. In this 45-minute, on-demand webinar, you'll learn how the latest Clean Power Research solutions support typical industry applications such as meeting PPA requirements, plant operations and solar + storage dispatch.

By watching this webinar, you’ll learn about:
  • Why it's important to predict PV plant production on a specific time horizon
  • Applications for solar forecasting and when to start thinking about solar forecasts
  • What to look for when choosing a solar forecast for your PV plant, including accuracy, scalability and operational reliability
The on-demand webinar includes a Q&A with the speakers. To watch the webinar, fill out the form on this page.
