Streamlining DER Interconnection Screening and Hosting Capacity Analysis
As adoption of distributed energy resources (DER) increases, utility distribution planning departments are juggling higher volumes of interconnection applications with an increasing need or requirements for deeper, more complex analysis. At the same time, customer service and regulatory groups are facing greater expectations for faster processing, status transparency and distribution system capacity information for new projects.
Hear experts from Smarter Grid Solutions and Clean Power Research discuss new ways to streamline interconnection while enabling faster analysis and greater transparency. By integrating hosting capacity analysis with an interconnection online application portal (IOAP), utilities can implement a fully automated DER interconnection screening process that meets new regulatory requirements such as NY REV.
In this webinar, you’ll learn how to:
- Automate DER interconnection screening to speed-up application processing times and meet new regulatory requirements
- Enable DER developers to site projects more effectively
- Improve grid safety and performance with comprehensive data access and queue management
- Increase DER hosting capacity through active network management
